The LHSA Landscape Map Layers

The Landscape Map Layers

The LHSA Landscape Map is comprised of ten Map Layers. This is a feature and limitation of Google My Maps. Each Map is also limited to 10,000 map points and a maximum of 2,000 map points per layer. At some point we will reach those parameters and have to split the map or find another platform like ESRI.
We realise that the map is not particularly easy to read quite yet but this is because it is a Test Map and we are constrained by the limitations of the technology. Please bear with us as you browse the map. It will take a little time to learn how to use the interactive map but work through the instructions and you will hopefully get it with some practice.

At the moment, the map is mostly focussed on map points rather than areas, but some areas are indicated on the historical layers. In time, this experimental map, which is really a series of maps all in one, will be improved, and its searchability through an App we hope to develop given enough support.

Thank you
